Teri Dulhania — Chapter 3 : Lost in the Jungle
The night shoot of Teri Dulhania was taking place deep inside a forest. Shehnaaz Gill, dressed in her heavy red Patiala suit, was shooting a running scene with Riya Singh.
During the scene, both girls had to run through the jungle as if a wild animal was chasing them. They kept running deeper and deeper into the forest.
Suddenly, the director shouted, “Cut!”
The shooting was over. Everyone started packing up and leaving the location. The lights were switched off, and slowly the entire set became dark.
But no one noticed that Shehnaaz had accidentally gone much farther into the forest.
She had slipped and fallen into a ditch while running. By the time she managed to get herself out, everyone had already left.
Meanwhile, Siddharth, who had come to the set in his blue suit with his P.A. Karan, was having a meeting with the director. When the meeting ended, Siddharth noticed that Shehnaaz was nowhere around.
He asked Karan,
“Did everyone leave?”
Karan checked and realized that Shehnaaz had not returned.
Siddharth was shocked.
“She hasn't come back yet?”
The entire set was already empty. Only Siddharth, Karan and their vehicles were left behind.
Siddharth took his phone and turned on the flashlight.
“I'm going to find her. You call the bodyguards and send them to search the area.”
Siddharth walked deep into the dark forest, calling out,
“Shehnaaz! Shehnaaz!”
From somewhere in the darkness, he finally heard a weak voice.
“I'm here!”
He found Shehnaaz trapped in the ditch and, after some difficulty, helped her climb out.
The moment they came out, they suddenly heard the frightening sounds of jackals nearby.
They looked at each other and immediately started running.
They kept running through the forest until they ended up on the other side, far away from the shooting location. By then, even the bodyguards could no longer find them.
After running for a long time, they suddenly noticed small lights in the distance.
It looked like there was a small village hidden among the trees.
Siddharth looked toward the lights and said,
“Let's go there. It looks like there's a village. We can ask for help and stay there tonight. Tomorrow, we'll go back to the city.”
Shehnaaz looked toward the village and quietly agreed.
“Haan... theek hai.”
By then, it had started raining heavily.
Siddharth noticed that Shehnaaz was getting drenched. He took off his jacket and gave it to her.
“Put this on. You'll get cold.”
Shehnaaz hesitated for a moment before taking it.
“Thank you.”
Neither of them knew what awaited them in that mysterious village.
And one important thing remained unchanged—
Shehnaaz still didn't know the name of the man who was walking beside her.
